Hey!

The Shuffle function is awful.

This is not Shuffle.Adam Lambert in 15 minutes twice!!! And sometimes i hear twice same artist, for example Cascada - Everytime we touch, Cascada - Miracle, Basshunter - Boten Anna, Adam Lambert - If I Had You... This is very bad Shuffle.

Improve it! I, really music lover, want to listen music with really shuffle. No Lady Gaga twice in hour, no Lady Gaga twice in day... I have 4,500 songs playlist. And if i restart Spotify and Shuffle again, i hear many tracks i already listened before in this day... Really poor Shuffle.

Please, improve it!!!

shuffle is lame on spotify, there are tracks on my starred lists that I am sure have never been played.

Spotify absolutely needs to improve their suffle feature.  I'm not sure they can avoid replaying the same artist in a short period of time (it is random, after all), but they should be able to play the songs in random order without repeating any single song until the entire playlist has been played.

Changed back to "new idea" status - once this idea reaches 40+ kudos the Spotify staff will review it again and decide on a new status. ~ Peter

Can't say enough that the spotify offline app is horrible. Shuffle sucks big time (see examples above) and therefore I even bought another MP3 app to listen to the offline files (PowerAmp). 

So please improve, otherwise I continue to use other apps on my mobile phone.

I am so glad to find people are having the same problem - it is so frustrating!

I have had to cut down all my playlists and STILL the same songs over and over again.

Such a simple thing for them to fix, I don't get it.

I am going to take the last option and just delete the songs that they play over and over again.

Another possibility is to skip through each song on the playlist once. Then when you shuffle it it again it seems to be more random.

I listen to the mobile version playlists (offline and online) and I have heard 'Yes Anastasia' by Tori Amos about ten times today. If I hear it once more I will either kill myself or smash my phone.
