Spotify Ideas

New to the forums but not new to Spotify. Recently I was at my brothers house and he had his Roku fired up with Mog and I have to say it was awesome! I argued the Mog vs Spotify with him for about an hour and it was a stalemate however the Roku argument he won hands down. I have looked through the forums briefly and have onyl found a few larthargic ways to add Spotify to the Roku.

I have read on some user groups that Spotify has plans to build an app for the Roku but they don't have a date or time frame. Does Spotify have an official announcement to bring there service to the Roku? I would like to know, if not I am seriously considering a switch.

I use my Roku with Pandora (which I can't stand) and to be able to use my playlists via the Roku would be the kicker that I believe would put Spotify over Mog and best of all I can tell my brother to shup up.

I'd really like to ditch MOG and subscribe to Spotify but I won't until you match MOG and provide a Roku app for subscribers.

Has it occurred to anyone that Spotify has some sort of exclusivity agreement with SONOS?  I'm not saying they do, but I am sure thay if they have ANY kind of control over the issue, SONOS will fight Spotify tooth and nail before they allow them to expand to other streaming devices.  

I realize SONOS is in a class of product all by itself, but it's attractiveness is harder to justify if you can access all of your music via much cheaper devices.

What is the deal?  Spotify doesn't want to add 200,000 premium users in a week?  This is must!  Get an app to Roku.  Now.  I already canceled premium and went with MOG.  Hurry up before I start liking it too much.  Seems clunky.  Get it done Spotify!  I command you!

I have wanted this since day 1 of US Spotify release. It is one of the only things I dislike about Spotify. I would be all over this!

Spotify on Roku Please!! I'm of sick and tired of using Pandora and I have a premium membership with Spotify!! please have developers create a Dark Screensaver on Spotify app when released!!

Please try to make spotify a ubiquitious as Pandora. Let's start with Roku.. (Roku Soundbridge support would be nice too)

This would put spotify over the top. As awesome as it is, it is a major boon not having roku support.

I'm a Premium Member since Spotify arrived to USA. I will highly appreciate if you create a Roku channel. I just suscribed to Mog and i will seriously consider to cancel my Spotify subscription if I'm not able to connect in my Roku player.
