On Spotify Mobile, there is in-playlist Search functionality on the iPhone, at least for versions up to 0.4.24. This works similar to pressing CMD+F / CTRL+F in the Desktop version.
However, the new iPad app doesn't seem to have this capability (CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG). I use this feature rather often to find track in my rather long playlists -- flat searches are just way too difficult if you only remember an artist or word.
This actually made me downgrade to the last iPhone version. Now I know that one is ugly and all, and I miss out on the extras from this iPad version, but I actually use this search in playlists so much that I sort of depend on it. I hope it would be possible to re-implement this default iOS search functionality for the iPad version as well.
NOTE: I've downgraded since the first releasem, so if this has been fixed in the meantime, please let me know.
