Hi! I've been wondering for a while now, why isn't Spotify working together with Eurovision organization to bring the users
the songs in Spotify since Eurovision organization is selling the songs on CD's on their own websites. I think it could be a good
thing to be able to utilize the large audience of Spotify users and at the same time give another way of people to hear the songs
after the Eurovisions are over.
Suggestion for Spotify to contact Eurovision organization and try to get an agreement of publishing the songs in Spotify.
Maybe if Spotify would become a Eurovision partner or sort. idk....
Just a thought.
I for one think Eurovisions have good songs each year. Spotify currently has some songs scattered all around the catalog, so why not collaborate with the Organization itself and get the real CD's / songs published. I think it would boost Spotify's markets a bit and at the same time make the possibly not so familiar artists to be known.
Yeh i quite like Engelberts UK entry, wheres that one ?
We hate it when we sound like broken records but licencing simply isn't up to Spotify in many cases. Spotify would love to have all music available on our catalogue but ultimately we need permission from rights holders befor making content available.
The availability of content not only includes making it available in the first place, but can often involve the removal of content when the rights change hands. We hope the songs will return soon but in the meantime please feel free to share this information with other community members or ask us if you have questions about a specific artist or record label.

Changed back to "new idea" status - once this idea reaches 40+ kudos the Spotify staff will review it again and decide on a new status. ;)
