I've noticed that the Spotify service seems to be making a more serious deliniation between 'explicit' music and 'edited' music recently. It's frustrating me on mobile though, because it's not always clear how to find the 'explicit' version of the album.
I understand that some people are concerned about explicit lyrics and parental controls, but for me personally, I want to hear what the artist originally intended.
Would it be possible to have some account-level setting where you could designate whether you want to hear 'explicit' music exclusively, or 'edited' music exclusively, etc? I could see how that would be useful.
It would be nice if there was a way to submit or tag curation errors you find in Spotify. On two or three occasions I've found albums from different artists with the same name mixed together. This could be very confusing for a listener trying to explore new material.
Here is an example below:
This is listed with the "Savant" albums. Savant is an EDM artist. The album linked above is an album from a totally different band, as far as I can tell. But there's nowhere to flag these items. At least none that I can find.
I propose that there be an interface element added to all Spotify platforms that allows users to point out when Spotify has made a boo-boo like this.
