When I search for songs in library, I don't know where the song are saved. And when I search for songs there is no way of knowing if you've already have that song, unless you check every playlist by filtering...
Also, not all songs appear when I search for it. Why? When I filter the playlist it comes up, but not in library filter. I think I have found this problem in a playlist search also, but I'm not sure.
This problem appear with collaborative playlists as well as normal playlists. Library should list everything, even if it's from subrscribed plalists.
A third problem I've found is that when you press the album cover (playing now) and you queued the song, you are redirected to library rather than the playlist. This would be fine as long as I knew where the song came from.
I think adding an option to exclude a specific playlist from the library would allow for a better customized music selection.
The example that I think of is a playlist with Christmas Music. I love my Christmas Music in December but not in July. :)
So I picture it would be something along the lines of right clicking the specific playlist and choose exclude from Library, so that you can play all the songs in your library with the exceptions of those in the playlist.
When I decide I want to listen to music, I come to a stand still at one final decision: iTunes vs.. Spotify, which music player to open? If I could, I would eliminate this dilemma that causes my music listening experience to be shortened and is more bothersome when it comes to keeping a computer strictly clean (I'm all about minimalism).
So my idea is: Is there a way to add control/management over your iPod and/or other mp3 device? Think about controlling your music library and peripherals in one place upon having the great music library at your disposal.
