Hey
I haven't seen an idea about this so I'll go ahead and write it down to see if its just me that would like this. I've been thinking about an idea for Spotify, I have a pretty big playlist that has about 1000 songs with 1000+ subscribers. And I bet that there is a lot of ideas of songs that could fit into this to make it better among the subscribers. There are probably also general opinions about the content in the list.
My idea is to make a "newsfeed/guestbook" for the playlist an available choice for the "playlist-author". This could be some sort of drop down menu that isn't always visible. That way it wouldn't "disturb" the typical spotify look but still be another useful function.
So this is just something for you to get an understanding for what i mean:
This could make it even easier to share music and explore new music, I think that is one of the great things about Spotify, that you explore so much new music and talented artists. Why not make it even easier to share that with people that have the same taste in music (that subscribes to the same playlist/playlists).
What do you think?
Hi...
I tend to organize all music in folders and sub-folders in order to keep my music sorted according to certain characteristics and filters... I haven't found a way to share folders, so I wish I could share not only playlists but playlist folders as well
Thanks!
Display a warning message when you try to send a song/album/artist that you've already sent to someone.
I share favorite tracks and new finds with a group of people quite often and I can never remember which songs I've sent to them already and which I haven't. I wouldn't want to spam their Spotify inbox with the same song that I've already sent them before, so a warning message would come in handy to let me know not to send it again!
PLEASE KUDO!
Tumblr is built on people posting things, and when people post things, they (should) tag them appropriately so that they may be indexed/easily/categorised etc.
At the moment, posts made to Tumblr by Spotify are only tagged with:
I believe that they should be tagged with
This makes a lot more sense and is a lot more in-line with the way Tumblr posts are supposed to be tagged, simply tagging 'music' and 'spotify' are way too broad.
Perhaps this could be user configurable so the user can actually choose which details to tag their posts with?
The Web Player is a lot like the Desktop Player, but it's missing the option to share the track or album on Facebook or Twitter.
Please add this to the Web Player.
