Some of my playlists are albums, which I like to listen to in the order in which the tracks are laid out - this is particularly important in some concept albums or soundtracks.
Some of my playlists are very large random collections of songs, which I like to be shuffled.
I'd like the shuffle setting to be saved for each playlist - so I can have my soundtracks played in order, but still get my other collections shuffled.
What if Spotify could generate a playlist of the top songs of a user's friends? Right now a user can view trending playlists and a few top tracks but what if you could shuffle more tracks? I know that Facebook can tell which friends interact more/ are "closer." I'm not sure if Spotify has this ability or if it could use this data from Facebook to show users what their "closer" friends are listening to.
It would be nice to be add a checkbox to tracks that could be toggled to "Skip song when shuffling," much like iTunes. I like to shuffle my entire library at times, however there are a good handful of tracks I keep in my library that I would never want to shuffle.
