Global HotKey for Pause/Play,Next Song, etc.

It would be nice to have an Global Hotkey so you can pause/play your music while browsing and not switching between screens. Or when you are gaming and you want another song but you don't want to alt tab and stay idle, a (customizable?) Global Hotkey(i.g. ctrl+shift+right) would be such an great improvement in the usefulness of Spotify.

Spotify for Android should remember last played song after restart of app

Current State:

Currently the Android App forgets the last played song after several hours not using spotify.

Seems when it looses internet connection it forgets the song. ("Internet connection lost" message shown and the marking of the current song disappeared).

Wish:

Spotify should save which song of which playlist has been played recently. So after startup of spotify the - one - last played song - should be marked. And a simple tap on "play" should resume the song.

Note:

On iPhone this feature already seems to be available.

Delete Song "now Playing" from playlist on Mobile Device

This is a usability improvement for the Mobile devices. Sometimes I want to remove songs from a playlist. This is currently quite a long task to perform on the mobile device.

I first have to select the right playlist.
Then I have to locate the song, which is not listed alphabetically. They are listed in the order I built the playlist with the oldest first and newest last.Some of my playlists have up to 900 songs in them and scrolling slowly can be difficult and timeconsuming.
Then click on the "pencil" icon and delete the track I don't want.

I think it would be a better user experience if we could delete songs as easy as it is to add them to a playlist.

So here's a suggestion for the mobile app, look there's even a space for it on the info page! :smileylol:

Play Que : Play Songs next

If you have a Play Que of 4 songs remaining but want to play some other song directly after the current song but you don`t want to listen the remaining 4 songs. Right now we have the option to add some music to the play que. I like to see an option to add songs after the current one and not at the bottom of the list.

Bring back the ability to search for certain songs/artists/albums on the android phones offline.

Ever since the new update, i'm are not capable of searching for songs/artist/albums on my Android device if I am offline. This is incredibly frustrating because this means I have to scroll through me playlist (containing over 700 songs on each playlist) to find one indivisual track,arist, or album. Spotify needs to bring this feature back to android devices.

Searching in your offline playlists has never been possible to begin with.

Artist and song - spoken by text-to-speech in beginning of song

I think it would be great if you could add an option to enable some kind voice announcement in the beginning of a song.

I mean like in the radio function. Sometimes listening to the radio I really like the song, but I don't know the artist and title of the song, so I have to wake the mobile up and look it up.

Would be nice if a voice told me in the beginning of the song what artist and song it is! :)

Change mobile app to have better display for starred songs

I love the starred songs function for the computer. I use it as my song library. But on my iPhone I never use it because it is soooooo hard to find the song I want to play. Please format to where you pick the artist and then the song or just have a "starred artist" section so you could just quickly pick the artist instead of having to search all the time
