Haha, not been on the forum for a while. I had 105 notifications. THANK YOU! I remember this being an issue back when I was more involved in these forums (2012?), but don't use the mobile app much these days so had completely forgotten the answer Cant believe there's still no clear button - just tapped the first song in a playlist and was completely confused why it kept playing something 'random' instead of the next song in the playlist

Anyone looking for a nice widget that allows you to control the music in whichever app you happen to be listening to right now should check out Media Utilities : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.batescorp.notificationmediacontrols.alpha
Works nicely with Spotify and my other apps, has a nice auto-hide feature for when nothing's actually playing and can also be added to your lockscreen (WidgetLocket at least - not sure about Android's 4.2 lockscreen widget view)
Much better than having separate different looking widgets for three or four apps taking up space

Same here to be honest. I just put it on because it was in the 'Recent Additions' list and I thought its been ages since I tried it, I'll see where Trance is going these days. Turns out it hasn't changed since I last had that thought and bought a mix CD ten years ago 🙂

I was listening to one of the episodes the other night (ASOT 619 I think). Sound quality was very poor compared to other stuff on Spotify. Probably not Spotify's fault though

Can't say I have experienced it. I've had my One now for a few weeks - was only listening to downloaded music previously, but have wiped my phone back to stock settings in preparation for the 4.2.2 upgrade due to arrive soon and so was listening to streaming tracks today over both wifi and 3G. Everything has been fine Are you running any resource managers on the phone? Do you have the power saving feature switched on?

When you see the second login prompt select "I'm new to Spotify" - as long as you logged in correctly on the first one it will let you through

Thanks, but I've tried restarting my phone many, many times (including before each reinstall) and it did not fix the issue.
It's turning the phone off and back on again after the install that does the trick, not before

Login the first time and then when the second login screen comes up try selecting "I'm new to Spotify" instead of trying to log in again - as long as the first login was correct this should let you through

When you say it logs you out does it present you with another login page? If so try clicking 'I'm new to Spotify' on that and as long as you logged in correctly on the first login attempt you went through that might let you carry on using your account

1234227421 - doesn't sounds like the exact same problem to me. Does your device have an SD card slot and if so do you have a card in there? If there is a slot but no card then the app is known to do this

This is the Android forum - sounds like you've posted in the wrong place? Are you talking about skips on the desktop app or mobile? Perhaps your account has been downgraded to Free for some reason - did you try logging out and in again?
