Spotify app stops playing track on Playstation 4 and 5 (PS4, PS5)

My Question or Issue

When playing music from the "Music tab" on the PS4 "Quick Menu" or the PS5 "Control center", sometimes after the playlist have been going for quite some time, sometimes for hours, suddenly the music stops playing, and when checking the "Music tab" the progress bar is just filled up to the end, that is, all the way to the right, more precisely, it's the end where the length of the track/song is displayed, and then it just stays filled, and the following is not possible:

Play/Pause
Next/Previous track

What fixes it is the following:

Open the Spotify App specifically, NOT the "Music Tab", though it CAN be opened via a link button from the "Music Tab" on PS5
PS4: Open the Quick Menu by pressing and holding PS button on the DualShock controller. PS5: Open the "Control center" by pressing the PS button on the DualSense controller once
On PS4: in the "Quick menu" press "Close Application" and the choose Spotify, and then close it. On PS5: in the control center, choose "Switcher", choose Spotify, and the close it.
Then just open the PS4 "Quick Menu" or the PS5 "Control center" and go to the "Music tab", and choose the playlist again and play the preferred track/song.
That's it, Spotify should now be working again and playing nominally or as normal.

Updated to version 1.007.000 on ps5

Problem still exist, if it happens on a song you can also just tab next song button...

But if it happens on an ad (yes i use a free account) then you have to restart the whole app again

Yeah I've had the issue with the ad one it's quite annoying it's been happening every day and everytime I play music on my ps5 and it's up to date on the latest software. I hope they fix this issue soon.

It definitely is not over the past years mine just stops playing randomly when a song ends and I can skip pause play nothing works it just goes to the next song and the bar starts counting but no sound

As of this date the problem still persist and happens very frequently. Might just switch to Apple Music

Deleting the app and reinstalling it really quickly allows you to get another set of songs before breaking again.
