Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Recent activity consists of the songs that you've listened to in the past and it's currently not possible to remove or delete items from this section.

We'd suggest that you try to discover new music - you can use the Radio feature or head to Search and choose a category where you'll find a lot of playlists made by Spotify, which you might like 🙂

While there's currently no way to manually delete songs from Recents - we'd recommend you leave your vote to this idea here if this is something you'd like to see implemented in the future. The more votes an Idea gets, the more likely it is to get implemented.

Is there a way to reset discover weekly?

Hi there, my laptop was stolen and someone was listening to my spotify, which completely threw my discover weekly recommendations out of whack. I have since changed my passwords and have downvoted previous discover weekly recommendations, but it's been a number of weeks, and each week, the recommendations are still based on the bad listening history.

Is there a way to selectively remove listening history from discover weekly recommendations? The good thing was that this was only during a specific period of time (like 2-3 weeks), so if that activity is removed, I think that should help.

There is a playlist that keeps playing every time I ask google to play me some music on spotify & I hate it, how can I remove it from my recently played & exclude it so it doesn't appear any more?

Hey... you should take the idea back that... not being able to delete recently listened to music is a HORRIBLE IDEA! In my case it's on my Apple TV, and my house guests just played a lot of music I DO NOT WANT BAKED INTO MY PROFILE! And instead of listening to a lot of music to fix the issue, I'd rather be able to **bleep**ING DELETE IT!

I'l like to add my name to the list of wanting to be albe to delete things I've listened to recently.
Like I was listening to some spicy stories, because I'm a grown ass woman, but I don't then want my kids to be listenting to those spicy stories...ya know.

I am also having an issue with my recently played effecting my discover weekly/daily playlists. There are some things that get played I do not want to be taken into consideration for that. For example, I will sometimes throw on some lofi or spa type music when I sleep. I don't want it to be effecting my other music though.

Man I am so glad I downloaded all my music today. I listened to a playlist that now pops up on my widget on my home screen that I don't want others knowing about. <Censored> this bass-ackwards company

Hey there i would like that to happen because it would be more ideal and simple to just double click it or hold click on it then press delete from recently history you should also add a delete all for the recents ty.🙂
