i get ads every 10 minutes because i dont have a subscription.. i get the same kevin hart chase bank ads every time. in an 8 hour day i hear it about 50 times a day.. i believe in business there is a point of diminishing return. why does the same ad have to be played all day

Repetitive ads is definitely a problem. Mix them up a bit, give us some variety. If I'm getting bombarded constantly with the same exact ad, I'm far more likely to *boycott* the product, making certain to never do business with them.

I also thing Spotify isn't putting any effort into making ads relevant to particular audiences. The one I was getting *REPEATEDLY* wqas for some country-music concert. Now, if that's your particular style, then great; I'm all for people being able to listen to their own musical preferences. But just GIVE IT A BREAK! You'd think Spotify would be able to figure out I'm listening to Touhou doujin, Vocaloid, J-Trance/Techno, J-metal, etc, and not cluster-bomb me for something I show NO desire of listening to.

I can just imagine there's some folks trying to listen to Conway Twitty or The Oak Ridge Boys, and they're being inundated with ads for some Band-Maid live show.

I'm getting triple tapped by the same masterworks investment ad. If I had investment money do you really think I'd be using free Spotify? I've downvoted the ads, but desktop doesn't seem to care at all. Every ad break I get three more adds for masterworks. I've contacted customer service and got told to try logging out and in again. That did not work.

EVERY TIME there is an ad break I get a reproductive rights ads from Biden/Harris about how a woman who had a miscarriage needed a D&C. So--I hear it about 20 times a day. Not so fun to be bombarded with this constantly when I just had a miscarriage myself. Sell me dish soap, a credit card, a car. Anything but this. Spotify--you truly suck.

I just complained about the repeat ads today. I have heard the same annoying Discovery Card ad with the woman doubling down over, and over, and over again to the point I turned my spotify off. I keep saying its "not relevant" and "I don't like the ad" but it keeps playing the same ads over and over. I let the people at Spotify know that repeating the same algorithm is not good business if it is annoying the customer. I'm not listening to Spotify anymore today, I'm that annoyed by this woman's whiny voice.

I'm getting that Jennifer Coolidge one too, over and over, but the one that is plaguing me the worst is the Leinenkugel commercial. For crying out loud, it has to stop. I don't drink, because I am an alcoholic. Please give us more control over this.

Ads given negative feedback play twice in a row

I gave an ad negative feedback and it played again repeatedly for over a week in between songs. Sometimes it appears twice in a row. I have given each option for negative feedback and the Fire ball mini ad won’t stop

Support told me to log out and reboot my phone, which did nothing. Ads need to be chosen better

There's this "BetterHelp" "Therapy" advert that keeps repeating over and over again, it used to go like "How often do you compare yourself to others?" I don't know how the ad fully goes because that fake caring voice is agitating and it's repetitive as heII so I shut Spotify instantly, it's so repetitive to the point any other advert is rare as heII, 100% serious, so repetitive I made this temporary account to complain about it.

Guess what? Now "BetterHelp" keeps repeating to me this advert, "What are your self-care non-negotiable's?", I don't know how the ad goes on because no, I'm not listening to you, again, it's driving me mental, seemingly no other ads play besides this one, plus isn't "BetterHelp" known for shoddy "therapy" lessons and "therapists"? And I'm getting their adverts? You's could go search up "BetterHelp controversy" on YouTube, some people said their therapists were bad experiences.

**bleep**, bro we're in the same boat. I think spotify just gets confused af when it has to deal with Japanese stuff and the other people in your demographic listen to completely different stuff. Or at least in my experience, that's been the case. I get things I am not remotely interested in as ads but they also tend to be very popular among people my age.

I have tailored ads off and I keep on getting Chumba onisaC (it's reversed because the actual word can't be used) and Lucky Land Slots ads on podcasts and I have never gambled in my life (besides from video games on console (I listen to my podcasts on a computer)) and I am sick of these ads because besides from other ads that I don't remember right now, they are the only ads that I hear.

I have tailored ads off also and keep getting Tim Sheehy advertisements telling me not to vote for him which I have no intention to. And Culvers advertisements, there aren't even any Culvers near me but, by god with the amount that this ad has enraged me I'll never eat Culvers now.

Mhm the repetitive ads are pretty annoying - I've been getting the Samsung Galaxy ad for weeks in every ad break, but I love my old iPhone and do not want to switch. I also get Spanish ads sometimes, which is strange since I never listen to Spanish content (since I don't speak the language) so why would this be targeted towards me? The Jennifer Coolidge ads are also really annoying since they keep popping up for different products.
