Error message: Your payment method and country don't match.

I would like to adjust my credit card details, but get the error: 'Your payment method and country don't match'. though we are in Belgium and have a card linked to a Belgian account, though the card itself is from Bank of America. Is there a solution so i can start using our new credit card?

Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

The way it works is that you always need to use a payment method native to the country/region where your account is currently set to. You've mentioned you want to use a card from Bank of America and if this card is not issued in Belgium that might be the reason why you're getting that error.

Tip: We usually advise that you update your payment details in an incognito window to avoid the possible issues that the data stored in your browser may cause.

I live in Croatia with American credit cards and Paypal account so I am unable to sign up for premium subscription.

Same problem.. Living in France with German bank account and Paypal. Insurance, paying rent, receiving salary, taxes.. all working fine. Except Spotify cancels my subscription.
