My Question or Issue

The app runs incredibly slow, we're talking 5-10 second response delay after clicking on anything. Obviously this should not be happening, and it only started after I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. You would think a top end phone should be able to run Spotify, but no.

I have tried all the usual junk; reinstalling, clearing cache, changing app permissions, data saving mode, etc. None of these have made any difference. I would like to clarify that the app works flawlessly for the first couple days after reinstalling, then it turns into the unusable mess that I'm here complaining about.

Unfortunately the 5MB attachment limit is too restrictive to upload a video, and images dont really capture how frustrating it is, especially considering the money I'm wasting on Spotify Premium.

Any help would be vastly appreciated.

Kudos for the troubleshooting you've already tried! This shouldn't happen indeed, so let's try some additional steps to see if they do the trick.

First up, we'd recommend giving another internet connection a go. If you've been using WiFi, now try with mobile data and check if the same happens.

If this behavior persists with any internet connection, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your phone to see if they can replicate it? This will help us understand if the issue is account-related.

On another note, you mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?
