I'm a premium customer trying to use the ps4 app. Streaming is very choppy indeed. Works fine through my phone app and the problem persists if I turn the bitrate down to normal. Wifi speed is 4.5 meg download which is about as good as I'll ever get. I've tried restarting the ps4 too.

We're on the same boat. Perfect through android and Windows but unusable on ps4

I'm on the same boat as you bro. having problems. disabled premium quality. issue still persist in ps4.

tried using my laptop, ok.

tried using ipad, ok.

but using ps4. it gets choppy.

the only logical explanation is in the lack of bitrate choice

Add another person to this. The ps4 spotify app will work fine for a little bit, just get gradually choppier until it is unplayable. Hopefully there will be a patch for this soon!

Hi, Spotify app on PS4 randomly stops playing a track while in the middle of it, and jumps to the next. There are many users with this problem, and no solution nor workaround (google "spotify ps4 skip"). Can you help? / Will you provide a new release of spotify on ps4 with a fix for this?
