Sync 3 Ford/Lincoln broke skip/next song after update

Kind of self explinatory but any update after 5.5.0.653 I cannot skip tracks after the first few seconds of the song starts playing. Anybody else have this issue? Is there a solution? SPOTIFY will you fix this. I contacted spotify support but pretty much got a blow off answer ie contact ford but again its the app that broke the capability.

I rolled back to 5.5.0.653 but would like to stay current.

Welcome to the Spotify Community. We understand you had to roll back to 5.5.0.653, but can you try to uninstall the app and then install it again?

I have uninstalled the app, restarted the phone and installed the newest version...I continue to have the same problem. I rolled back to each update since 5.5.0.653, each time unistalling it, and in all cicrumstances it continued to have the same issue.
