Control Sonos over Spotify app

I have read that Sonos and Spotify are launching in October 2016 a beta functionality to control Sonos directly from spotify app.. I am a beta user and today is the last day of October.. Do you know anything about the real release date? Do I need to do something else to test that functionality? I am an Android user

I've just received my invite to the Spotify-specific Sonos app update, and installed it (following the instructions), but can't figure out how to take over control of the Sonos speaker from Spotify. Would be nice if there were some instructions...

After updating to Sonos Beta go to Spotify, definitions and connected devices. That worked for me. Already found some bugs (disconnecting) but everything good again!

For me the soluoution was to update my Sonoscontroler on my Mac, afterwards it also worked on my Iphone.
