From what it looks like, I think you might be streaming Spotify through an internet browser? Let me know because Im not 100% sure but that's what it looks like.

If thats the case, I recommend downloading the actual spotify application, it is much faster and has many more features such as downloading music to listen to offline.

Hope this helps!

I tried clicking the download button on the right hand of my screen at the bottom and then I select chrome book because that's what I have and it just brings me to the same website!

Sorry for all the trouble! I have been reading some other spotify community member's post that seemed to have a very similar problem, all of which use chrome books. Pretty sure that the problem and you cannot download the app with a chromebook. I think spotify needs to try and find a way to change this because I am getting premium and cant get it on all my devices! Not to mention a large handful of people have chromebooks and would like to be able to listen to music offline on here because I have storage issues on my phone.

Hello again!

I looked into it again and you are correct. For some reason ,using a chromebook only allows the use of Spotify through using the web player. We will start suggesting a change to this so chrome book users have access to all the features that Spotify provides.

Have a nice day!
