When playing an album or playlist, only the first song is played

Since a couple of days whenever I press play for an album or playlist, only the first song is played. After that spotify returns to the old queue. I now have to press clear queue to hear the rest of the album or playlist I wanted to hear. This is obviously very annoying and didn't used to work like this.

What can I do about this? Hope someone can help me out!

Can you give us some more info about this issue? Let us know:

Does this happen when you reproduce any album?
Can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event?
Can you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're currently using?

In the meantime, try logging out and back in to see if this issue persists.

Thanks for replying! Strangely enough, this happened for about a week (for anything I played), but now no longer occurs. It occured on at least the web player and the desktop app (Mac). Maybe restarting one of these helped...

So, I'm glad it dissappeared, although it's still a bit of a mystery.
