Spotify web player not loading in Chrome or Firefox

A few weeks ago I noticed that the Spotify web player would only work sporadically on my Chromebook at work. I can sometimes get it to load a song here and there, but clicking on almost everything results in that little spinning wheel that never loads anything.

I've cleared cache, emptied cookies, restored browser and all that stuff and no success. I then tried loading the web player from home on my personal PC and it neither works in Chrome or in Firefox.

I know there are other posts on this problem, but I figured making a new post about it might make Spotify take notice and do something about it.

I hate not being able to listen to music at work!

If I am correct @cmallen, it is your chromebook. They aren't that powerful. From experience, I have learned that you need a powerful computer to run it. Can you give me your computer specs like your processor?

Definitely not the problem because it worked fine all along on the chromebook until a few weeks ago. And secondly as I said, it's not working on my desktop computer either anymore.

Interesting how you have tried every good option. That would usually fix it temporarily.

It's been working fine now. I guess Spotify had a glitch to fix.
