Hi! If you want that, you can submit an idea to the Idea Submissions . You can do that on the desktop app. Hope this helps 🙂

Currently on desktop, you can only change from high quality(320 kbps) to standard quality(160kbps)(used quality in webplayer). You can submit an idea here Idea Submissions about the ability to change the quality on the desktop app to 96kbps(normal quality for mobile devices) or the ability to change quality in web player. The Idea Submissions area is where we can post feature requests.
