Scary commercials

I love spotify and its music and understand that it has to have commercials to be free, but literally Everytime I'm listening to it a preview for a scary movie comes on and it freaks me out. If I wanted to see that i would go watch the trailer on YouTube. It also really freaks out my little sister and she has to sleep in my room.

Unfortunately there is no way to change advertising and only way to delete it is buying premium forutnately this idea or problem has already showed up here

what I can recommend is using headphones but until ad filters become available there is no way to change which ads are given to you.

Yes I agree! They have also been playing explicit songs and I have young children listening....I am not always able to turn down music in time and that is not appropriate at all!

My case is slightly different, my case has to do with Spotify putting up condom commercials for me to hear every 3 songs! There is no excuse it is inappropriate for adults but especially young children !

its 2025 and the issue is still the same. yeah ok show me ads but horror ads explicit ads even youtube has a option to somewhat ban the ads and they arent even much of horror or explicit ads there, heard a scary laughing and knocking sound scared**bleep** out of me.
