How can I find out which songs have already played in a play list?

When I shuffle a playlist and then go to search for a song or go to a different playlist, when I go back to my original playlist that was shuffling, it repeats tracks I have already listened to. Is there a way to see when a track last played or mark a song played?

Hey guys, can you make the Spotify app able to do this much like Serato DJ? I myself am an event DJ and use Spotify a lot to play dinner music and such. Sometimes my playlists are so long that I forget which songs I have played already. I know the songs are "White" then turn green when they are currently playing. Can you make the app turn the songs say, "Blue" in color indicating they have been played already? Then have an option to clear the play "History" and that will turn them all white again. Would be an awesome feature as I know a ton of my fellow dj's utilize Spotify this same way.
