My Question or Issue

Russound MCA 88X is not recognized by Spotify as a device to play selections.

How long has this been going on for? Does restarting your network make a difference?

Thanks for the interest.
It has been going on since I installed Spotify.
Rebooting the router and the rebooting the Russound make no difference.
The Spotify connect app recognizes my S8 phone, my wife's iPhone, my
computer (LAN), and my Surface Pro. Will not recognize the Russound.

Thanks for getting back to us.

Right now, to play music from Spotify on your Russound MCA-88X, you need a Premium subscription, so let's make sure your subscription is up and running here.

If you're rocking Premium, but still can't use your Russound, head to

MyRussound app, go to the streaming services menu and choose Spotify. This should open the Spotify app, and allow you to choose the Russound as a streaming device.
