Songs Skipping on Google Home Mini

My Question or Issue

When playing music on my Google Home Mini, songs will randomly be skipped in the middle of playing. This doesn't seem to happen consistently with any songs, and usually happens at random times during the song. This happens if I'm casting from my phone or if I tell my home mini to play music on its own, so it doesn't appear to be an issue with cast, and I'm guessing is an issue with the way Spotify works with the home mini or the device itself. Does anyone have any suggestions to prevent this from happening?

I've been having the exact same issue for about 2 years now. Google's/Spotify's response has been to reboot the router and mini. It doesn't work. Still skips randomly.

Any update to this Spotify? This is getting old.
