Spotify randomly starts and stops on Yamaha RXV 683..

I have Yamaha RXV 683 receiver. The Spotify app recognises it as a device but when I try to play music it does not play properly.

The music randomly stops and starts...breaks...

I have tried from multiple devices, IPAD as well as Android but same result.

Music with Airplay plays well.

I have tried with fixed IP as well as DHCP but result is the same.

Please advise what to do further.

Can you start by restarting your router, your speaker and your phone/iPad to see if that makes a difference for you?

We'd also recommend giving this a try on a different network, for example you can start a hotspot of your phone and use that network.

Lastly, we just want to double check if you have the possibility to ask a friend or a family member to log in on your device and give this a shot.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The connectivity is much better with hotspot.

Any suggestions to make it better with wifi. The router is very close to the receiver and connectivity to internet is excellent as well.
