Restore deleted playlists

Hi,

a friend of mine accidentally deleted almost all of my playlists. Is there any possibility to restore them?

Hey @Eine_gute_Fee,

Welcome to the community!

Don't worry, Spotify automatically backs up the playlists you create, so if you delete them, they’re easy to get back.

Log in to your account page.
Click Recover playlists in the menu on the left.
Click RESTORE by the playlist you want to recover.
Open Spotify and find the restored playlist at the bottom of your playlist collection.

this sounds ridiculous but is there a way to recover them after deleting them from there as well?

This didn't work for me, but I found a different solution. I play Spotify on my TV, and if I start Spotify on my PC while it's playing on the TV, it shows the album on the lower left hand side. Click on the album and it will display the deleted playlist. If you download the Playlist to your library, it will display the playlist in your library. Click on it and it adds it back to the list of playlists.

what happens if i restore a playlist? will it alos reappear on everyones "wall" that used to listen to it?
