Music disappearing from Artist profile

My Question or Issue

I already reported it through Spotify's reporting system but i got an automated mail saying i should look here so I figured I'd make a post about it too.

All of the music (except for one song) has disappeared from an Artist's profile. But the songs are still on Spotify because you can find them back and they still link to the original profile. What happened? Is this a bug?

Hey @Camman4343,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

If the profile where the music is getting unlinked belongs to you, it's possible that the metadata might get changed or corrupted and the audio file needs to be re-uploaded. To see the full process, take a look at this article.

However, if the artist's profile is not yours, it's also possible that the artist or right holders are updating the profile by hiding, deleting, uploading or changing some metadata.

Also, keep in mind that featured tracks might appear in just one of the artists profiles involved in the song (the "owner" of the uploaded audio), but not in all of them.

My single was released under the proper artist profile for about a week and now it’s split off to a new page under my same project name. It even still has the canvas I put on it. I can’t access it through Spotify for Artists now. So weird

Same thing happened to me. I uploaded the song through a dish or good and originally it was on my regular artist profile. I just noticed that I’m Spotify for artist it disappeared so that I checked Spotify and it was gone off my discography also. And now is made into like a new artist

Hi there , the exact same has happened to me. I uploaded an album and 2 singles via Distrokid. It uploaded to an artist profile. I claimed that after installation and became a verified artist. The album and tracks were visible on my claimed artist profile. Last week they were gone. They can still be found under the original artist profile, but no longer on my verified artist account. Consequently I i also do not see the stats anymore on the artist App. Very annoying.

Hello,
I have released my first single as an artist, claimed my artist page through Spotify for artists, distributor shows the song is live. But the song and artist page isn't searchable - the only way people get to listen to the song is through a sent link.
Is there anything I could be missing for it to not show up in search?
