The song playing on Spotify differs from song displayed on Amazon Echo Show

Occasionally, the display on my Amazon Echo Show 5 and BOSE Home Speaker 500 do not display the song actually playing on Spotify. Additionally, if I ask 'Alexa, to name song playing' I receive a response naming the previous song or 'Daily Mix x from Spotify'.

Amazon have already replaced the Echo Show 5, but still the problem persists.

Since you mentioned that the desync occurs occasionally, it might be a bit difficult to pinpoint the actual cause of this. What you can try (if you haven't already) is:

Reinstall the Spotify app.
Unlink and relink your Spotify account to Alexa.
