I got an email about opportunities to buy merch based on my wrapped 2021.
This is very inappropriate, the world does not need more things. The great thing about Spotify is that you don’t have to buy physical albums. But you still promote selling junk.
get with the times and stop such nonsense.

Hey @Lalali,

We've moved your post to a more appropriate section of the Community.

If you want to stop being notified about Spotify promotions you'd need to go to your Account page > Notification settings > Switch off Spotify News and Offers.

This way you'll stop receiving messages regarding Spotify promos, product news, offers and events.

This does not stop the adds from appearing on Spotify Desktop. I see a "merch" spam section on my Spotify Premium feed when I look at an artist's page....

How do i get rid of merch, sales, etc in the app, because i pay for music, not for advertising.

Hey folks,

At the moment, the "Merch" section on artist pages cannot be blocked or hidden, but your feedback on the topic is greatly appreciated as we continue to innovate and test in order to find the right balance for our users.

In the meantime, you can control and disable the different email and in-app notifications you receive from Spotify by logging in to your account page.

The Community is just a post away should you need assistance with anything else.
