I keep trying to listen to music while playing my games but after like 10 seconds it just stops playing

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

Could you try to log out > restart your phone > log back in to see if that makes any difference for you? It's best if you log out everywhere following the steps in this article.

We'd also recommend to try re-connecting and restarting your Xbox.

If a family member has a Spotify account, it could also be a good idea to ask them to log in on your device to see if the app behaves the same way.

In case it does, try clean reinstalling it. It'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and fixes and will remove any corrupted files from previous installations.

Also having same issue. Xbox version of Spotify is fully updated, uninstalled and reinstalled. Restarted, logged in and out of everything including other devices… is that everything? Thankfully I’m perfectly fine with just listening on my phone but it’d be nice to have a fix for this (seemingly) xbox exclusive issue.

When I try to listen to music on the Spotify App on the Xbox Series X, it randomly stops playing. Does not crash, just pauses.

We'd like to look further into this. Could you provide us with the following information:

Your Xbox's OS version
The version of Spotify you're running
The troubleshooting tried so far

A short video which showcases the app's behavior in action would also be greatly appreciated.
