Hi @JTraynor14, thanks for writing.

Here's a selection of fixes that may help:

Restart your console

Restarting your PS5 is the classic "try turning it off and on again" solution. But there's a reason for that. Restarting the console will close down all your apps, and this can rid them of any gremlins. While we can't guarantee it will resolve all your issues, a system reboot works on a whole host of problems, so it's well worth giving it a try.

Make sure your internet is working

Another fix that may seem obvious. But if your PS5 is not connecting to the Internet, Spotify definitely won't work.

Run through all the usual checks: is the internet working on other devices? Can you open Spotify on those devices? Can you open other apps on your PS5? If you are experiencing any connectivity problems, then you might need to check with your ISP for any known issues in your area.

In addition, things like restarting the router, or using a wired connection instead of wireless, are worth considering. And finally, make sure you don't have loads of apps and devices all competing for bandwidth at the same time.

Uninstall the app

A slightly more long-winded measure, but sometimes, uninstalling and reinstalling the app can fix any problems. It ensures you are running the most up-to-date version of the software, as well as removing any corrupted files from your console.

Let me know if it helps!
