I can't share lyrics

I've searched everywhere on the community page, and talked to support, but me and my friends can't seem to share lyrics from songs. It says you need to be running the latest version of Spotify (which we all are). It hasn't worked on my mobile (iOS) or on the desktop app. I know some people can share lyrics but I can't. Is it not supported anymore on iOS or on some phones or desktops? Is it a premium thing now? All the other community posts are closed and don't answer my question. It isn't anything major, I'd just like to have that feature back. Thanks 🙂

Thanks for reaching out. The share function should at least appear on mobile. What do you see there? Can you send us some screenshots please? Did you have the share function before or is it yet to appear for you?

There should be a share button beside the pause/play button, but there isn’t. The share button above when the lyrics aren’t fully open only shares the song and the song link.

I sent screenshots, but when I open the lyrics there isn’t any share button. I’m running the newest version of Spotify, but I never had the ‘Share Lyrics’ button.

Thanks for the reply. In this case, have a look at this Ongoing Issue about the same behaviour. In short, some users didn't have access to this feature and some account changes might be necessary. Feel free to reach out to our support team to check this.
