Howldy, chargle!

It's possible that the issue you're experiencing with the Soundcore Life Q35 headphones is related to the Bluetooth profile that your phone is using to connect to the headphones. When your phone is connected to the headphones, it may be identifying the headphones as a car Bluetooth device, which can cause issues with video playback on Spotify.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Disconnect and reconnect the headphones: Try disconnecting the headphones from your phone and then reconnecting them. This may refresh the Bluetooth connection and resolve the issue.

Clear the Bluetooth cache: Clearing the Bluetooth cache on your phone can also help resolve issues with Bluetooth connections. To do this, go to your phone's Settings, then Apps, find Bluetooth, and tap on Storage. From there, tap on Clear Cache.

Disable Bluetooth absolute volume: Go to your phone's Settings, then Bluetooth, and tap on the gear icon next to the Soundcore Life Q35 headphones. From there, toggle off the "Bluetooth absolute volume" setting. This can sometimes resolve issues with Bluetooth connections and improve the quality of audio playback.

Update your phone's software: Make sure that your phone's software is up to date. Sometimes, updates can include bug fixes and improvements that can resolve issues with Bluetooth connections.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you can try contacting Soundcore customer support or Spotify customer support for further assistance. They may have additional solutions or be able to provide further troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the issue.

I'll be barking up the wrong tree without updates!

-Prague the Dog

I want to watch the Distractible podcast with video using my Soundcore Life Q35 headphones, but Spotify thinks they're a car, so it won't play the video. This problem is only happening on my Android S22+. I tried it on the web app on my Windows computer and it worked fine. This only happens when I use the Soundcore headphones on my S22+ phone.

Same issue here!! I have tried every fix available and it will NOT get better! How TF does spotify get abjectly worse every year??? This shouldn't even be on the **bleep**ing table as a problem, it's shitty site/app infrastructure and is completely avoidable if they bothered to **bleep**!

I pay for premium. I should be able to watch the video and listen on my earbuds. This is ridiculous. I'm not in a car.

B S!! This is a known issue to customers on Android ongoing since 2019. Spotify decided that you can not watch video while driving so in order to do that, they've decided to just disable video on all Bluetooth devices on Android and refuse to fix the issue. Get used to it because they don't care. I am a current paying customer BTW. About to not be though.. Spotify used to be so awesome! Now it's like their dev team doesn't even use Spotify

I have the same problem with the JBL Tune buds. Spotify thinks the buds are a car, so it won't let me watch videos. So far, the proposed solutions don't work.
