Look at that, still ignoring us or is the link to this thread just unluckily and magically broken every time you click on it ?

I totally get that a 2,750+ votes „new idea“ isn‘t showing up on this site as it hasn‘t been updated for more than half a year now.

Yet, a lot of folks desperately trying to contribute to „the Spotify experience“ would very much appreciate an official update from you, the moderator of the show, whatever shape it may take :o).

Stop ignoring Spotify support for HomePod. It's aggravating that so many people want this and you're pretending we don't. You're making it difficult for me to justify continuing to pay premium when I'd get this feature immediately if I switched to Apple Music.

While we're at it, make your shuffle truly random instead of evidently-not-random like it it is right now.

Considering Spotify's popularity with both artists and listeners, one would think that the collective quality of their playlist radio selection is up too par. This is not the case.

I sincerely wish Spotify would come together and hire people to make playlists out of certain genre and BPM. The "variety" of playlists i get is trule depressing when I know there is more then a plethera of music to choose from.

What I am asking, is to provide a more in depth variety of music when creating a playlist from various songs. The same songs should not pop up for each radio playlist created by the same artist. Im on the verge of just finding another source for music because i hear the same tracks over and over across the HUGE GAPS of genre... idk guys. Give me a job or something to make playlists idk

I've been a Spotify user for more than four years now. I'm going to be leaving for Apple Music soon if Spotify continues to ignore requests for HomePod integration, and I suspect quite a few people I know are planning to do the same.

It's been a good run, but I can't see the sense in paying a subscription to a service which just ignores the will of it's users.

Why can't users rate and review podcasts? I find the Spotify recommendations, charts and browsing categories really stagnant. User ratings and reviews would really help to find podcasts.

"[Partnership] Add Sign-in with Google" is implemented with 56 votes. Much older [Desktop][Podcasts] Sort by Unplayed/Recently Added with 683 votes is NOT? This whole "Community Ideas" thing is one big joke. Spotify is not able to develop decent app UI, that's no new thing. But looks like they're not even able to sort the ideas by age and votes.

Including the filter and the ability to sort a playlist by songs that I like (marked heart) or that I don't like (unmarked heart) is a fantastic idea.
Including this idea is useful since when they pass us a new playlist it is easier to detect which songs we already have in our favorite songs list and go directly to listen to the new songs and see if we want to add them to our playlist.

It has been EIGHT YEARS since the ability to block other users and prevent them from following you or seeing your content was suggested. It took FIVE YEARS for you all to acknowledge it was a good idea and asked us to vote on it. WE DID!!! It is currently the eighth highest voted idea. Your users are crying out for your help them avoid being harassed from malicious abusive people from their past, but for some reason you have prioritized changing profile pictures over protecting your users from users with ill intentions that are ruining their experience with your product. I am a software engineer and I have worked on several projects in the past where we sourced work from our user base, and if we had ignored our user base's desperate pleas the way you have FOR YEARS we would have all been fired long ago. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! I have had to create a new account and manually copy over playlists in order to avoid my ex who has been stalking me who I had to move across the country to escape from.

IT IS NOT A DIFFICULT FEATURE AND WE ARE BEGGING YOU FOR THE ABILITY TO BLOCK USERS FROM FOLLOWING SO WE CAN FEEL SAFE TO USE YOUR PLATFORM AND NOT BE STALKED AND HARASSED BY POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS PEOPLE!!!! Please **bleep**ing help us and**bleep** done

Please add a feature in which users can block other accounts from seeing their profile, similar to one that is available on platforms such as Instagram and Twitter. I would like to be able to have public playlists and allow most of my followers to see what I am listening to, but there are certain followers of mine that I would not like to be following me. A block button would allow me to control who has access to seeing my music and make me feel a lot more comfortable with using this platform.

Hey spotify,

You know what would be a really good idea? Implementing the 'good idea' from eight years ago. Yes that's right, I am referring to the block feature that countless users have pleaded for and you continuously ignore.

Your anti-consumerist behaviours are psychologically damaging and threatening the safety of your users. It's only a matter of time before this blows up and the reputation of spotify is permanently tainted. It takes one large content creator, a viral tiktok, youtube video, etc. for these things to switch over night. Spotify needs to WAKE UP and start respecting its users before it is too late for this company.
