Dang, gotta feel for the Android users being rejected the swipe down Now Playing view idea. It works so well on iPhone (yet it's not on the iPad either)

Also that playlist design concept is really nice!

Yeah, sure.

According to the official Spotify count, there are ~1900 live ideas right now. Yet, the ideas are implemented at a rate of 5 per month or 60 per year (and that estimate is optimistic).

So, my idea might matter in 30 years or so, given that nobody submits any new ones...

Here's an idea that wasn't approved: Spotify family plan for Canada.

Here's my action as a result: cancelling all my family premium Spotify accounts and moving to Apple Music. It's an inferior service, but I'm not going to keep paying more than double.

I've been looking around the recent ideas of the month and I would spend some time here, coming up with ideas, voting, discussing but it seems a bit pointless.

Seems like the implemented section is something they did and errr that guy wanted it cool. The not right now is the good idea section where they only explain why not if they've "already" done it.

This all seems pointless, sorry for the rant.

Your ideas matter at Spotify... unless you're in the Microsoft ecosystem

Ideas with less than 1K votes have been implemented, because they're for iOS and/or Android or for all platforms at the best, while ideas with 6.5K votes (Xbox One app), 2.5K votes (Spotify Universal App for Windows -phones, pc, hololens and xbox-) are put on "not right now" status.

I had to switch to Premium Deezer, they are giving Microsoft users the app we deserve (on both phones and desktop, UWP), with amazing performance (opposed to Spotify desktop app which is resource hungry).

I might come back if things change here, for now I will enjoy a product of a company which cares about their users.

Love the idea of being able to upload your own photos as covers for playlists, I know this is currently a feature that only people in the Rock Star program have, but I think that being able to personalize playlists in this simple way should be something available to all users.
