Okay. I am trying to embed music into a digital program platform we use for performance programs at large arts organization. When I view the embedded item on my desktop computer (MAC OS 12.2.1, Chrome browser), I can hear the FULL songs.

When I view the SAME embedded item on my phone (iPhone 11, Safari OR Chrome browser), IOS version 16.3.1) it only shows me a preview of the songs.

The strangest part is that on my work desktop computer, I am logged into Spotify with a free account through my work email. But on my phone, I am actually logged into a paid premium account on Spotify, and it still only shows me the preview version. Why the difference, and can it be fixed?

Hello, I am having a similar issue now, have you found a good explanation for how Spotify chooses when to play the preview vs. when to play the full song?

sadly, no -- everything I google about it seems to say that on mobile devices it will only ever embed the preview-length track, and on desktops it will default to full track. Weird. And frustrating.

Is there no solution at all to this issue? Would be extremely frustrating if it is indeed impossible to play full length songs on mobile...
