Hi!

A "UPC" or "EAN" code is related to the release/album; it's expected not to have it directly on the track root object like the ISRC.

You will find it in the album object.

 Hello,

The responses from the Get Track or Get Several Tracks API are only returning the ISRC under external_ids, and not the UPC or EAN, although I only need the UPC. I have also tried the Search API, and the UPC is not returned there either.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

I realize this discussion is over a year old. What you say is true -- UPC is a code for the release (album), but since one can GET playlist items with copious data as JSON including `track.album.name`, it is not impossible to include `track.album.upc` or `track.album.external_ids.upc`. I would find that helpful. ISRC identifies the specific recording for the track in your playlist, and UPC can identify the release that was the source of that recording, e.g., single or studio album or compilation, etc.
