Hi CFR314,

The Developer Terms/Policy also says you should keep the content of Spotify in its original form.

This means your app idea does not comply with two points.

Hope this helps!

I am building an app with the Spotify API which takes user generated presentations/slideshows that sync to the music spotify is currently playing, spotify would be controlled through the official spotify app/website not our app, our app would just adapt a presentation to the music using information about the song currently playing, and I am unsure whether this is allowed under the Spotify Developer Policy specifically under "Some prohibited applications" number 6 which states "Do not synchronize any sound recordings with any visual media, including any advertising, film, television program, slideshow, video, or similar content" and I want to know if this usage would be permitted since it is used by the end user not us and would that change if we were to recored the presentations for the users to view. Does anyone know if this would be allowed? Let me know if you have and further questions.
