topic Playlist stream data in Spotify for Developers

Hi!

I'm considering developing a system that would allow users to see the estimated number of streams a song might receive from a specific playlist, depending on its position within the playlist. I found that the website isitagoodplaylist.com offers such data, but I'm not sure how they are retrieving this information from the Spotify APIs. According to a blog post on their site, they mention that "the data used for stream estimation from playlists is collected from Spotify for Artists, provided by artists who have agreed to share their data with the community."

I'm curious if there are any specific APIs or requests that can be used to obtain this data from Spotify for Artists through a profile that has access to an artist's account on Spotify? I understand that they obtain the stream count for song within a playlist (to which the website has access, since users have allowed them to use their Spotify for Artists data for collection) and then estimate the stream count based on different positions. But how exactly are they doing this?
