Greetings and thank you for your response.

- This is for personal use

- I am using Linux, but no desktop environment, just a window manager

I had been using spotifyd and spotify-tui for a long time before spotifyd stopped authenticating (as in the screenshot) so I tried other *nix clients like Spotifox and Spot but they received the same AUTH error (also in the above screenshots).

I do not quite see how the Authorization Code Flow would work for this however...perhaps I am missing something in the docs.

Thank you again for any insight!

Hi there, ccrecorder! Thanks for reaching out - I'm happy to help!

To get a better understanding of your situation, could you clarify a few details?

Is this for personal use only, or is it for something else?

Are you working on a mobile platform (Android/iOS), or is it for a desktop environment?

What programming language are you using for this project?

Have you considered using the Authorization Code Flow from Spotify? It's a great option for many use cases.

Feel free to share any additional context, and I'll do my best to assist you further!
