If you check the response's headers, there should be a "Retry-After" header, which will give a value in seconds for how long you should wait before trying again.<BR /><BR />If you continue to send requests before this header suggests, Spotify is likely to "punish" you by extending the "Retry-After" time with subsequent calls.
