Does anyone have problems verifying their email when signing up to create apps?

I have repeatedly tried to verify my email without success. When I reply on my received email I get an error message from the web browser. It goes to spotify but there is an error message: "Something went wrong."

No solution in sight - please help!

I also have this problem and it's stopping me from being able to develop an app. I need to verify my email with the developer portal before I can create an app. This is required before I can generate a client_id and client_secret.

I have tried the following but continue to get the same error that something went wrong:
* Changing browsers (Firefox to Chrome). I can login to the web spotify UI fine.
* Changing my password. Changed to use less special characters.

* Changing my email address.

* Changing my IP address (with a VPN).

None of the above work. The confirmation email is delivered in all cases and leads to the error page.

The Spotify verify API endpoint responds with a 401 status.

I have also tried to login with my username and password with the Python librespot library. This also does not work.

Can someone from Spotify please help me out?

I've tried multiple times today and got the same thing. Customer support was not able to help me.

I had this issue just today. After some troubleshooting and reviewing the link information, I found my network flagged the verification link as including an ad tracker. If you run a network-wide ad-blocker, you may need to disable it or verify through a different or mobile network instead. As soon as I made that change, I could verify with no issue.

Also need my email to be verified to create apps. I'm getting the 422: Unverified email with spotify. Pleeease, Spotify, just open a link in the account page to resend the verification email. Is it that hard? Thanks
