Pausing a song

We are using the latest Spotify SDK. We've created a very basic UI, which operates in the same way that the SLEEP BY MAX RICHTER app operates: https://www.maxrichtermusic.com/albums/sleep/

e.g. The user taps on an option in the app, the app jumps to Spotify, then comes back to our app to play a playlist.

Everything is working fine except one issue. When we PAUSE the playlist in our app, the playlist pauses. However, when we go to press play again after around 30 seconds or so, our app jumps back to Spotify to reauthenticate and then plays again in our app.

However in the Max Richter app, if you pause a playlist, no matter how long you are idle, if you play the playlist again in the Max Richter app, it doesn't jump back to Spotify. It just plays again.

Do you know how we can achieve this?
