Hey @Mikooo

It’s me again—just wanted to share one more tool that might be helpful!

You can also try Organize Your Music, another web app from the same developer. Here's what it can do:

Visualize your music
It lets you plot your songs on a graph, and you can set the axes to things like valence and energy—just like you described.

Select and organize
You can drag a box around tracks on the graph to select them and create a new playlist. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s a powerful tool.

How to use it:

In the "What do you want to organize" section, choose "A specific playlist".

Paste in the playlist URI (not the URL) into the text field.

To copy a playlist URI instead of a URL, hold Ctrl (or Cmd) while in the playlist sharing menu—this reveals the URI option.

Click the green button to load your playlist.

⚠️ Just a heads-up: like the previous app, this one uses HTTP, so your browser may block it at first. You can usually bypass this with an option like "Proceed anyway." Also, it works best on desktop.

Let me know how it goes or if anything’s unclear—happy to help further!

Crawl data using specified genre

Hi everyone, I’m facing a problem with my thesis. First, I want to cluster R&B songs based on their mood using valence and energy. However, when I conducted some research, I found that it’s possible to crawl or obtain track data using a specific keyword (in my case, R&B). I’ve been crawling R&B song data, including common information and audio features, but I’m doing it by using playlists with a specified keyword genre (R&B). Is it possible to crawl song data based on specific genres?

Hey @Mikooo

Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out!

Since the APIs that once powered this feature are no longer available, here’s how you can still get what you need:

Discover genre-based playlists with Everynoise
Visit Every Noise at Once to explore auto-generated playlists across hundreds of genres.

Follow the playlists you like
Click “Follow” on any genre playlist you want to keep in your library.

Analyze audio features with SortYourMusic
Go to SortYourMusic Playlist Machinery and select the playlists you’ve followed to retrieve detailed audio features (danceability, energy, tempo, etc.).

Tip: This site uses HTTP; if your browser blocks it, look for an option on the warning page to “Proceed anyway.”

If you run into any issues or have more questions, just let me know—I’m happy to help!
