Get Users followed Users

I am working with the Web API and I am wanting to get all of the users a given user is following. I see that currently the API only supports getting all artists a user follows, but was wondering if there was any way to get around this? If not, is this something that we can expect in the future? I would love to get involved and help create this endpoint!

This is an issue that has been VERY heavily requested for as long as 5 years (at that time the API was still on GitHub and the issue thread was submitted less than a month after the initialisation of the repo), but the devs are actively ignoring it and haven't resolved the issue until the GitHub repo was archived in 2020. So I would reckon this won't be fixed in the finite future.
