Hey, how are you? Welcome to the Spotify Community.

Currently, Spotify's public API doesn't directly support retrieving pre-releases, such as unreleased albums or singles, even if they're visible in the app's interface. These upcoming releases don't appear in search results or in the recent releases endpoint (/new-releases). Even when you know the album ID, the /albums/{id} endpoint often doesn't return tracks if they haven't been officially released yet. Alternatively, you can monitor an artist's albums with the /artists/{id}/albums endpoint, including the "album" and "single" groups, but even then, pre-releases aren't always listed correctly, and the tracks may not be accessible.

Keep me updated.

Cheers,
ribezaz

My Question or Issue

Is there any way to retrieve prereleases via the API? They seem to be similar to albums but with a different resource, and the track IDs are not retrievable.
