Hello! Welcome to the Spotify Community.

This is an excellent idea. The concept of using AI to understand and respond to a user's mood is exactly what makes platforms like Spotify so amazing.

You wouldn't be able to "put AI inside the official Spotify app," as they don't allow third-party developers to modify their software. But you could develop an API for that 🙂

The workflow for your project would look like this:

1. Data Analysis: Your AI would analyze the user's listening history, focusing on characteristics like "valence" (positivity/mood) and "energy," which the Spotify API already provides for each track.

2. User Interaction: To be more precise, your app would ask direct questions like "How are you feeling right now?" (Happy, Relaxed, Focused, etc.).

Your idea is not only feasible, but it's a fantastic example of applying AI to create hyper-personalized user experiences. It's a challenging project, but with incredible potential.

Keep me updated if you still need help!

Cheers,
ribezaz

I have the idea to put a Ai in spotify that identifies the mood of the people using it by seeing the past data, by asking the some questions to the user so that It can suggest the best song for the user hence the user will spend more time on spotify

Plan

Premium

Country

ALL

Device

could be operated in any device

Operating System

any

My Question or Issue
