The embedded player renders with a black background — episode artwork and metadata are not displayed. Only the waveform, play button, and 'Save on Spotify' link are visible.

Summary The Spotify embedded player (iframe) is displaying with a black background on our website. Audio playback still works, but the player UI does not render properly.

Reproduction Environment
Occurs across multiple browsers Chrome, Safari.

Opening the embed iframe URL directly in a browser (e.g. https://open.spotify.com/embed/episode/...) also results in a black screen in some environments

Embed Method We are using the standard oembed/iframe embed provided by Spotify. No modifications have been made to the embed code.

What We've Confirmed

Verified that the issue is not caused by any logic on our side
The problem appears to be within Spotify's rendering inside the iframe
The same issue occurs across multiple episodes

Questions

Are there any known issues or recent changes related to the Spotify embedded player?
Has anyone else experienced this same issue?
Are there any known workarounds or an expected timeline for a fix?

I have the same issue - cover art is missing on spotify embeds. I tested on Firefox, Edge, and Chrome, also tested in incognito mode.
This same issue seems to affect examples on Spotify Documentation for Devs
